Capacity of Biogas Plants

Our smallest biogas project is designed to handle 20–25 kg of food waste per day, producing biogas sufficient for 3–4 hours of daily cooking. The plant’s modular design allows its capacity to be expanded easily to meet higher waste loads. It can be configured to process waste generated by 200 to 2,500 people, ensuring scalable performance. As gas generation increases with capacity, the system provides significant savings and a continuous supply of clean cooking fuel, even during periods of national or international uncertainty in gas supply.
-
Handles 20–25 kg food waste per day
-
Suitable for cooking for 200–250 people
-
Provides 3–4.5 hours of cooking daily
-
Daily waste handling and cooking potential for large communities.
-
Ideal for large kitchens and institutions
-
Simple once‑daily feeding process
This is for one plant. System is modular & can handle waste right from 200 to 2000 people.
Each plant can save one LPG cylinder every 5-6 days, amounting to 70-72 cylinders annually. The payback period is roughly two years, after which the system continues to deliver savings for its 15- 20-year lifespan. It also reduces methane emissions from open waste, contributing to climate
mitigation.
